Who regulates us?

One Financial Solutions Ltd is an Appointed Representative of 2plan wealth management Ltd. It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and entered on the Financial Services Register (www.fca.org.uk) under reference 607130. 2plan wealth management’s permitted business is advising on and arranging pensions, protection, mortgages, investment and non-investment insurance.

Protection

To ensure you receive appropriate protection under the FCA’s rules, the FCA asks that we categorise our clients as one of the following:

• Retail client
• Professional client
• Eligible counterparty

Generally, we treat clients as ‘consumers’ for insurance business. Clients who are not individuals, such as listed companies, local authorities and larger partnerships or trusts may not have rights under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

We are covered by the FSCS which means you may be entitled to compensation if we can’t meet our obligations; however, this depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

Investment

• Most types of investment business are covered up to a maximum limit of £50,000.

Insurance

• Advising and arranging insurance is covered for 90% of the claim, without any upper limit.

Mortgages

• Mortgage advising and arranging is covered up to a maximum of £50,000. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.

What to do if you have a complaint
