Issued: 21 June 2017

pdf_smallThe Summer 2017 issue of our newsletter is now available for you to download. In these turbulent times we very much hope that it helps keep you up to date with financially-related matters. Read the Summer 2017 newsletter here.

We announced the publication of the Spring 2017 issue of our newsletter with the following statement: “There’s certainly a lot happening in the economy at the moment … Interesting times, but uncertain ones too. What lies ahead? Are the markets settling? Can we expect stability?”

Who could have foreseen the drama that was about to unfold! A sudden general election which, far from bringing the increased stability we all craved did quite the opposite – the electorate reacting to a series of largely self-inflicted political ‘events’ with various levels of displeasure by ploughing up the political landscape. There were no winners, only losers.

Fortunately, our newsletter is much more predictable and, as usual, brings another eclectic mixture of articles to help you understand and review your financial situation, aspirations and goals. Our Summer 2017 issue takes a look at:

  • Four simple principles for investment success
  • The value of getting true independent financial advice
  • How to make a real success of pension freedom
  • Disruptive technologies: opportunities and risks
  • Using ISAs to make a monthly investment
  • Income protection: living the dream and safeguarding your future
  • European stock markets – is it time to look again at Europe?
  • Pension freedoms: increased choice but hidden dangers

We hope you find the newsletter interesting and offers food for thought. If you would like more information about any of the topics mentioned please call us and we’ll be delighted to help.
